About the property...

Take the lift up to this spacious, second-floor apartment and enter via the hall, which has plenty of storage for outdoor clothing. There's also a shower room with two handbasins and a separate WC.

The apartment has four bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms, each with its own shower room and toilet. The apartment also includes a third bedroom with a three-quarter bed and an additional single bed, along with a bathroom and toilet. You will also find a dormitory-style room for two people, with the option to pull out a third bed. These last two bedrooms also have access to a terrace.

The open-plan living area at the front of the chalet opens onto a large furnished terrace which is covered so that it can be enjoyed in all weathers. Step outside with a drink after dinner and enjoy the crisp evening air: there's a gas fire pit in the table and heaters to keep you warm!

Back inside, the elegant kitchen has everything you need to make cooking a pleasure and a dishwasher to make the clearing up easier. There's a breakfast bar with upholstered stools where you can enjoy a quick snack, and a dining table where you can all sit down to eat together.

After dinner, curl up on the large L-shaped sofa piled with cushions to watch a film, or relax on the cosy faux-fur chairs in front of the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy the view.

All the apartments in the building share a space on the first floor, which has a gym, ski room and relaxation area.

About the area...

Megève is the most well-known resort in the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area. With over 400km of pistes, the resort offers a mix of luxury and tradition that is hard to beat.

Beginners will appreciate the gently green runs, while more experience skiers will find plenty of off-piste challenges in Côte 2000 and Mont Joly. The resort is also a great base for ski-touring, with physical challenges and spectacular views.

Megève is also linked to the other resorts in Évasion Mont-Blanc: Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains, Les Contamines-Montjoie, Combloux, La Giettaz and Saint-Nicolas de Véroce, where you can find quieter runs, fewer crowds and a more laidback atmosphere.

Outside the ski season, there are still plenty of adventures to be had in and around Megève. There are more than 150km of hiking trails ranging from easy walks to challenging mountain treks, all with views of the Mont-Blanc massif. You could also try paragliding, horse-riding or hot air ballooning, if you want to see the area from a different perspective.

Golfers should try the Mont d'Arbois golf course, one of the highest 18-hole courses in Europe, with some of the most spectacular views.

Megève is a great destination for families too, who appreciate the adventure parks, swimming pools, sports facilities and lakeside picnic areas.
